Tyler Zarzeka

…was raised in Sacramento, CA and started drumming later in life. He was raised on top 40 and classic rock, both shown by his parents. But it was early 2000’s pop-punk that sparked his interest toward drumming. After attempting the band scene, “I learned what a drummer was supposed to sound like after taking lessons from Mike Johnston”. Shortly after he moved to Los Angeles to attend Musicians Institute to take music more seriously. Graduating in 2007, he immediately started touring and performing with singers and pop artists.

Around 2010, he found a love for music production after starting work at the world-renowned backline company, Center Staging. Shortly after, he fell into the touring world as a backline tech working for artists such as Usher, Jay Z, Demi Lovato, Adele, Hanson, Anderson Paak, Charlie XCX, 3 Doors Down, American Idol Tour, and many more.

After years of filling up two passports and traveling to over 45 countries, Tyler decided to quit working for musicians and began drumming full-time once more. Since making that decision Tyler has been busy performing in front of countless audiences on world tours, festivals Rock In Rio and Coachella, and on TV shows such as Ellen, The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel, American Idol, The Late Late Show, and The Today Show. Drumming for artists; Charlie Puth, Noah Cyrus, Kiiara, AJ McLean, Betty Who, Cher Lloyd, Lesley Roy, Emblem 3, Taylor Grey, Siren XX, and Bobi Andonov.

When Tyler isn’t on the road he collects vintage and modern drums, and works on improving his drumming skills. “You can’t get comfortable, you have to want to better yourself on a consistent basis”
